The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), in partnership with BOSS A1 Global Limited, has commenced a five-day training programme on Data Analytics and Business Intelligence for 50 young Nigerians in Lagos.
The programme, which began on Monday in Yaba, is part of NCDMB’s efforts to strengthen local capacity by equipping young people with digital skills relevant to the oil and gas industry and the broader economy.
The training curriculum, developed by BOSS A1 Global Limited, covers data collection and cleaning, data visualisation, dashboard development, predictive analytics and the application of business intelligence tools for business decision-making.
Participants will receive practical training using industry-standard software and real-world case studies aimed at enhancing their employability and technical competence.
According to the organisers, beneficiaries will also have access to mentorship and post-training support to help them explore career opportunities in employment, freelancing and entrepreneurship within the technology and energy sectors.
The organisers said the initiative is expected to produce 50 certified professionals with competencies in data analytics and business intelligence, contributing to the growing demand for digital skills that support operational efficiency, cost optimisation and data-driven decision-making across industries.
Participants will receive certificates of completion at the end of the training programme.
