The She Tank Clarifies Its Position on Future Seasons of MENtality with Ebuka

The She Tank, a global feminist culture lab and creative studio, has shared some context regarding the upcoming season of MENtality with Ebuka.

In a statement, it was noted that the She Tank co-conceived, produced, and funded the pilot season of MENtality with Ebuka, in collaboration with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu and EME.

Chief Executive Officer, Blessing Omakwu, in the statement, noted that the series was built as a bold and necessary conversation platform designed to challenge restrictive masculinity norms and contribute to a more gender-equal world. We remain proud of what that first season represented and the conversations it sparked.

The statement said as Mr. Obi-Uchendu and his team move forward with a new season, we want to clarify that The She Tank is not involved in the creative, editorial, or production direction of future seasons.

Omakwu said: “Culture is one of the most powerful tools for social change. MENtality with Ebuka was built to challenge outdated ideas around masculinity and open up more progressive possibilities for gender. We are proud to have helped lay that foundation. We hope the show continues to spark provocative and powerful conversations around masculinity, and we wish the team much success in this and future seasons of the show.”
