SFB Expands Cultural Reach with Party with Porkiyor Concert Partnership

As anticipation builds for the highly anticipated Party with Porkiyor Open Concert, fashion brand SFB has officially partnered with the event, not only as the official stylist for the headliner but also to deliver an engaging pop-up fashion experience for concert attendees.

Speaking during a closed-door meeting, the Chief Executive Officer of SFB, Sodiq Olayemi Oseni, described the collaboration as a strategic move aimed at expanding the visibility of Nigerian fashion and reinforcing the quality of locally produced clothing within the global fashion conversation.

According to him, Nigerians often prioritize brand names over quality, despite the fact that locally manufactured fashion products can compete favorably with international standards.

“The Nigerian fashion industry has the creativity, craftsmanship, and quality required to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with global brands. Collaborations like this help us reach wider audiences and reshape public perception about made-in-Nigeria fashion,” he stated.

The Social Media Manager of the brand, Afolabi Faithful, also expressed appreciation to the event producers, Ashipa Network, for the level of visibility the partnership announcement has already generated online.

“With just the announcement of SFB as an official sponsor, the brand has already recorded over one million impressions across digital platforms. The online relevance and engagement have been massive,” she noted.

Headliner of the concert, Olaifa Pelumi Mumin, commended the brand for maintaining high production standards and refusing to compromise on quality. The entertainer, who is set to appear in specially curated SFB outfits during the concert, praised the craftsmanship and fitting of the designs prepared for the performance.

Event producer Opeyemi Ashipa also encouraged more fashion brands to leverage concerts and youth-centered events as marketing opportunities through pop-up experiences and direct audience engagement.

“Concerts create access to potential buyers and loyal supporters. Pop-up activations allow brands to connect directly with consumers in a cultural environment where fashion and entertainment naturally intersect,” he said.

Meanwhile, the official SFB stylist, Nwankwo Chisom, described the brand’s newly released collection, “Elevate Your Dreams,” as an inspirational campaign targeted at young people striving for success.

He explained that the collection is designed to encourage youths to remain confident and hopeful in their hustle while expressing themselves through fashion.

The Party with Porkiyor Open Concert is expected to attract a diverse audience of music lovers, creatives, influencers, and entertainment enthusiasts, further positioning the partnership as a significant fusion of fashion, culture, and youth-driven entertainment.
