Youth Presidents from communities across Ifedore Local Government Area of Ondo State have unanimously endorsed a leading aspirant for the Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives, Prince Aderosoye Emmanuel Fadola.
The endorsement followed a strategic meeting of youth leaders drawn from various communities within the LGA, where the Chairman of the forum, Alomaja Ayodele, commended Fadola’s grassroots interventions and people-oriented initiatives, despite not holding public office.
Ayodele said the aspirant had demonstrated strong commitment to education and youth development across the 10 wards in Ifedore, citing the distribution of exercise books and school uniforms to pupils in public primary schools, payment of salaries for PTA teachers in Ero, and the award of scholarships to students in secondary schools across the area.
He further noted that Fadola sponsored 1,000 free JAMB forms for students across Ondo State in 2023 and, in 2025, extended similar support with 300 forms specifically for students in Idanre and Ifedore LGAs.
According to him, the aspirant also organised academic competitions, including a recent mathematics contest in which the winning school received a laptop and a cash prize of ₦300,000.
“These efforts have left a lasting impression on our communities. It is on this basis that we collectively adopt and declare our full support for his aspiration,” Ayodele said.
Also speaking, the Secretary of the forum, Oladimeji Olaoye, highlighted Fadola’s contributions to youth empowerment and social welfare, including the organisation of football competitions to discover young talents, provision of motorcycles to youths, and settlement of hospital bills for indigent residents.
Olaoye added that the aspirant supported vulnerable groups during the COVID-19 pandemic through the distribution of relief materials and has continued to sponsor the education of less-privileged students.
The forum also acknowledged that Fadola had previously provided a vehicle to support the coordination of youth activities across communities in the LGA.
Describing him as a responsive leader, Olaoye said the endorsement reflected the collective desire of youths for effective representation.
Other youth leaders at the meeting pledged to mobilise support for the aspirant ahead of the party primaries and the general election, expressing confidence in his capacity to represent the constituency effectively at the National Assembly.
The meeting ended with a unanimous affirmation of support for Fadola’s candidacy by youth leaders across Ifedore LGA.
