A major step toward Africa’s AI future is quietly taking shape in Nigeria

PALMR8D INC (USA) has entered into a strategic Joint Venture with EMPIRE MONUMENT to build what is being positioned as Africa’s sovereign AI-native data and operating infrastructure, starting from the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, where land has already been secured for a next-generation data center.
The partnership unites Symon Adeji, Founder and President of PALMR8D globally, and Augustine Okpe, Managing Director/CEO of Empire Monuments and Structures.

The two partners and seasoned business leaders; Mr. Symon Adeji , a Nigerian entrepreneur known for his expertise in business development and philanthropy, as well as his strong interest in technology, and Mr Augustine Okpe, who brings extensive experience in business, logistics, and real estate and will serve as Vice President of the Africa joint venture.

At the center of this initiative is PALMR8D NCore™️ & GovOS™️ , an AI-native operating system designed to power governments, enterprises, and large-scale digital ecosystems. The system, already developed, is being positioned as one of the most ambitious AI-native platforms built out of Africa for global deployment.

Beyond infrastructure, the initiative will extend into a broader ecosystem.

It will support a consumer-facing PALMR8D platform, alongside enterprise and government AI systems powered by NCore™ and GovOS™.

Within the next nine months, the company plans to launch AI-native mobile devices and computing systems fully integrated with its operating system, creating a seamless, end-to-end technology stack from infrastructure to hardware.

The initiative is expected to have an immediate economic impact, with over 1,000 jobs to be created in Nigeria within 90 days from May 1, 2026, and a total of 3,000 jobs projected across Africa.

This follows earlier engagements in Silicon Valley California, with execution now firmly rooted in Abuja Nigeria, combining global system architecture with local engineering and construction capabilities.
What is emerging is not just another technology project, but a strategic effort to establish sovereign AI infrastructure, independent data and computing capacity, and a unified operating system layer for Africa, underscoring a growing view among insiders that Nigeria is not merely adopting the future of AI, but actively building it.
