Jc T Why Music Camp empowers creatives with industry networking music camp
Nigerian music company, Jc T Why Music, has positioned itself as a leading force in talent development, following a remarkable outing in Lekki, Lagos, where it hosted talents to an artistes development and creative industry bootcamp.
The three-day event, held in one of Lagos’ most vibrant cultural hubs, brought together a unique blend of emerging talents and established professionals signalling Jc T Why Music’s growing presence in the talent development landscape in Nigeria.
Convener of the initiative, Oluwatayo Akinyemi, popularly known as Jc T Why, designed the camp as a platform aimed at bridging the gap between raw talent and industry excellence.
The programme featured a combination of hands-on workshops, live recording sessions, mentorship classes, and high-level networking opportunities tailored to equip participants with practical knowledge of the music business.
According to Jc T Why, the vision behind the camp is to create a sustainable system that nurtures talents into globally competitive brands.
“This is more than just a camp; it is a movement focused on building the next generation of African music stars,” he said.
Industry personalities delivered insights across key areas in the music business such as; music production, branding, performance, and distribution, offering participants a rare opportunity to engage directly with industry veterans.
In attendance were Sijuade Adedokun, Kabir Adeyemo, Gabriel Afolayan, Prince Temiloluwa Bayode, Akinyemi (Jc T Why), King Lu (The Militant), Fadey Lagos, and Raymond, representing Rebirth Music.
Others are Ric Hassani, Prince Temiloluwa Bayode, Kofoworola Eze, Ola Oluwasanmi. and Ezeamaku Tobechukwus, popularly known as Mr Energy.
Attendees described the camp as transformative, citing its practical approach, high-value sessions, and the quality of interactions as standout elements that set it apart from conventional music gatherings.
