Energy, Glam, Success, Debsandy Entertainment Hosts Premiere Night That Draws Global Attention

The premiere of Mother’s Protection, hosted by Debsandy Entertainment, concluded on a high note with a well-attended gala night that brought together industry stakeholders, dignitaries, and members of the public for an evening of celebration and recognition.

The event featured a red carpet session followed by a vibrant indoor program, showcasing a blend of entertainment, networking, and cultural engagement.

Organizers described the turnout and overall execution as a major success, highlighting the growing influence of diaspora-led Nollywood initiatives.

Top on the list of dignitaries in attendance were the Lord Mayor and Mayoress of Southampton, who served as Special Guests of Honour. Representatives from the Nollywood Producers Guild United Kingdom and the Actors Guild United Kingdom were also present to show support, alongside members of the Philippines community and other notable groups.

The premiere was further highlighted by the presence of Nollywood’s Special Guest of Honour, Ruke Amata. CHIKA Onuoha attended as a Special Guest and delivered a keynote address during the program.

Proceedings for the evening were anchored by Honourable Lady Doyinola, who served as Master of Ceremonies, while DJ OmaTrends provided musical entertainment throughout the event.

Also present were the CEO of Empowerme Recruitment Ltd, Stephen Ubah, and Chole Ubah, patrons of Debsandy Foundation, whose support has been instrumental to the organization’s initiatives.

Other organizations in attendance included Phenomenal Sisters Ireland, Beauty and Brain, GDI, JoyD Kitchen, Jiang Chipao, Healthier Choice, and Cub4fun, among others.
