Rivers Community Leaders Endorse Spiritual Healer Guru Deseye Subai
Community leaders in Bodo Kingdom, Ogoni Land, have publicly shared striking testimonies about the work of spiritual healer and Christian mystic, Guru Deseye Subai. At a recent gathering, chiefs including Nwikpo, Benedict Bronzor, and Vormu Kurubo said they personally witnessed Subai’s activities during his stay in Bodo, Beeri, Bori, and Wiyakari. “We saw it ourselves,” Chief Nwikpo said. “People who had suffered for years began to find relief.”
Several residents claim they experienced improvements in long-term illnesses, including chronic pain and recurring conditions that had resisted medical treatment. One resident, Blessing Nwikoro, said her seven-year battle with unexplained back pain ended after a spiritual cleansing session. “The pain just disappeared and never came back,” she said.
Now based in Port Harcourt, Subai says his approach focuses on the spiritual roots of physical illness, while still encouraging people to seek medical care first. His methods, however, continue to spark debate. While some medical professionals warn against relying on spiritual healing alone, others admit that certain cases have shown unexpected improvement.
“In our culture, sickness is not always physical,” Chief Kurubo said. “What he did for our people cannot be ignored.”
Subai currently offers consultations from his Port Harcourt centre and through remote sessions, drawing growing attention across Rivers State.
