Firm Unveils New Housing Phase In Idu Corridor
Folalumi Alaran in Abuja
A real estate firm, Real Forte Estate Limited, has announced the launch of a second phase of its residential development, The Glade, located in the Idu Sabo area of Abuja, as it seeks to expand housing and investment opportunities in the rapidly developing corridor.
This new phase follows the earlier rollout of The Glade Phase I, which has yielded over 200% returns for early investors” says Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder, Ayobami Folarin. He noted that the decision to expand was driven by growing demand from prospective buyers who missed out on the initial phase.
The Glade Phase II offers a mix of terrace, semi detached, and fully detached plots, with payment options structure to make them more accessible to both homeowners and investors.
The development is situated within an axis currently benefiting from ongoing infrastructure projects, including the Inner Northern Expressway and road links through the Karimo–Lifecamp corridor, which are expected to improve access and potentially drive further growth in the area.
According to the developer, the estate is planned to include facilities such as sports and recreational spaces, road networks, parking areas, and community centres aimed at supporting residential living.
Real Forte Estate Limited also has other projects across Abuja, including developments in Apo Tafyi, Karasana, and Sabon Lugbe, reflecting a broader strategy focused on emerging districts within the Federal Capital Territory.
Industry observers say continued expansion by private developers into Abuja’s outskirts highlights increasing pressure on the city centre and a shift toward suburban growth driven by infrastructure development.
