How OPM G.O Restores Electricity in Ndoki After years of Darkness
The people of Ikwuorie autonomous community in Ohanku Ndoki and the broader Ndoki region in Ukwa East Local Government Area of Abia State are celebrating the restoration of electricity after nearly two decades without power supply.
The breakthrough came through the intervention of His Royal Majesty Apostle Dr. Chibuzor Chinyere, Founder and General Overseer Omega Power Ministries (OPM) and the Ihie I of Ikwuorie Ancient Kingdom who personally funded the replacement of vandalized infrastructure.
The Man of God spent millions of Naira to purchase and replace stolen cables vandalized high tention materials through Aba Power, addressing the long-standing obstacle to power supply with Ohanku and Ndoki part of Ukwa East Local Government Area.
His Royal Majesty King Chibuzor Chinyere also spent Millions of Naira to energize transformers and install poles and cables in the three Autonomous communities namely Ikwuorie, Ujuru and Okotoko even though he is the traditional ruler of only Ikwuorie Ohanku Autonomous community.
His Royal Majesty took immediate action after the Executive Chairman of Ukwa East Local Government Area, Hon. Chibunna Akara, paid him a courtesy visit and raised concerns about lack of power supply in all the communities in Ndoki.
Recall that On October 22, 2025, the stolen high-tension cable supplying power to Ndoki was replaced, funded entirely by His Royal Majesty King Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere.
Community leaders subsequently paid a courtesy visit to His Royal Majesty, to express their gratitude for the restoration of electricity.
The interventions reflect His Royal Majesty’s continued commitment to community development in the region, supported by resources from Omega Power Ministries.
In support of his kind gesture, King Chibuzor Chinyere made an honest appeal to the Executive Governor of Abia State Dr Alex Otti, OFR during the ground breaking ceremony of Ukwa East General Hospital in Ikwuorie Ohanku Ndoki to assist the Nde Ohanku and Ukwa East in General provide Prepaid meters to ensure steady power supply in the area. A request which His Excellency the Executive Governor of Abia State, Dr Alex Otti promised to do including providing transformers in all the area.
Recall that King Chibuzor Chinyere donated over 100 plots of his personal land to the government to build a General hospital in Ikwuorie Ohanku Ndoki in Ukwa East Local Government Area of Abia State
