Foremost HR and payroll technology firm, HumanManager, has seized the occasion of Lagos Tech Fest 2026 to outline its expansion strategy and planned integration of artificial intelligence into its workforce management systems.
The company exhibited at the technology conference that held in Lagos recently, engaging corporate executives and ecosystem players on payroll automation, regulatory compliance and cross-border workforce management.
Managing Director, Mr. Udy Ngele, said the operating environment for businesses has become more complex, particularly in light of recent tax and regulatory adjustments.
“We are seeing a clear shift in the workplace; managing human capital has become more critical than ever. Recent tax law changes required organisations to respond quickly. For companies already using structured systems, implementation was more straightforward,” he stated.
HumanManager provides payroll processing, employee records management and compliance tools to organisations in Nigeria, Ghana, Liberia and Kenya.
The firm stated that its systems are designed to help businesses manage statutory deductions, maintain accurate data and adapt to regulatory updates.
Ngele said the firm’s next development phase will focus on embedding artificial intelligence into routine HR processes.
“Technology is widely accessible today. The differentiator is how effectively it is applied to solve business problems. Our focus is on integrating AI into everyday workflows to improve efficiency and provide better insights for decision-makers,” he added.
Now in its sixth edition, Lagos Tech Fest convenes startups, investors, established technology companies and policymakers to discuss trends shaping Nigeria’s digital economy.
The event featured panel sessions, exhibitions and pitch competitions.
At the exhibition, discussions around HumanManager’s platform centred on compliance management, system resilience and the operational demands of companies expanding across multiple African jurisdictions.
As regulatory frameworks evolve across African markets, analysts say businesses are increasingly turning to digital tools to manage payroll accuracy, tax compliance and workforce data security.
HumanManager reaffirmed commitment to refining its platform to address these challenges as companies scale within and beyond national borders.
