Ejiroghene Udu Wins Global Entrepreneur Awards 2025

Ejiroghene Udu has been named Entrepreneur of the Year 2025 (Female Entrepreneur) at the Global Entrepreneurs Awards, held at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra, Ghana.

The award ceremony formed part of the Global Entrepreneurship Festival
which attracted entrepreneurs from across Europe, the UK, America, and Africa.

This recognition highlights her trailblazing leadership and impact in Nigeria’s temporary power sector.

Udu is the CEO of EU Premium Power Solutions Ltd. (PPS), founder of The Technician Academy, and co-Founder of Power Plus Generators Ltd. Her work continues to redefine power accessibility and bridge the power gap across multiple industries, communities, and regions.

The award recognizes her outstanding contribution to bridging Nigeria’s power gap through innovative, reliable, and on-demand power solutions.

Under her leadership, PPS has become one of the fastest-growing companies in the temporary power industry deploying over 90MW of modular captive power in small pockets across Nigeria, providing road-towed generators, maintenance expertise, and premium reliability to businesses, events, and institutions nationwide.

Speaking of the recognition, Udu said: “This award came as a shock, as I was initially nominated for the Global Industry Award only to be called up for Entrepreneur of the Year.
This award is dedicated to my team. Their commitment and loyalty to excellent service have made our vision possible.”

Over the past year, PPS has recorded significant growth, expanded to São Tomé and Princippe, strengthened operational systems, and expanded into new product categories including the establishment of Power Plus Generators Ltd., its retail arm focused on generator sales, with a strategic expansion into solar and inverter solutions underway.

The Global Entrepreneurs Awards celebrate innovators who are redefining enterprise and driving economic transformation across continents.
