Ajokesings made this known during the public presentation of the top ten finalists on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at the Executive Hotel, Lagos, where she also promised continuous mentorship and training for the winners to prepare them for global exposure and excellence.
The 2025 SPAW Talent Quest, an inaugural edition of the gospel talent show, began with 100 contestants and was pruned to 50 before the top 10 emerged for the grand finale held on Friday, October 31, 2025.
At the end of a thrilling night of worship and musical performance, Praise Moses emerged overall winner, winning a cash prize of N750,000, while Dharmie Hilz and Isioma Charles won N500,000 and N350,000 as first and second runners-up respectively. While the other seven finalists each received N100,000.
The top ten contestants included Olusola Tabitha (Tabithaseengs), Isioma Charles, Damilola Adaralegbe, Amosa Peace Temiloluwa, Uche Harmonie, Minister Queen Esther, Praise Moses, Dharmie Hilz, and Chidera Rosh.
They performed popular gospel songs such as Osuba Re by Ajokesings, Imole De by Dunsin Oyekan, Agallio by Judikay, Imela by Nathaniel Bassey, and Alabaster Box by Cece Winans.
Speaking at the press briefing, Ajokesings described the SPAW Talent Quest as more than just a competition, but a platform for discovery, growth, and transformation.
“It is my joy today to see these young men and women who dared to believe in the gift of God placed within them,” she said. “SPAW is about raising gospel stars. It’s a symphony of praise and worship, a seed of impact that, when nurtured, can grow for God’s glory.”
She noted that the selection process was transparent and merit-based, explaining that contestants submitted auditions via YouTube and were carefully screened by judges and coaches.
Ajokesings also revealed that the winners would receive mentorship, workshops, and performance opportunities, including recording support at Reverb Studios.
Mariam Haruna, CEO of Reverb Productions, further outlined the benefits awaiting the top ten. She announced that the top seven finalists would enjoy free studio sessions once every three months for six months, including vocal and social grooming mentorship.
The first and second runners-up will have bi-monthly studio sessions for six months, while the winner, Praise Moses, will receive a fully produced single and six months of mentorship and professional training.
The finalists expressed gratitude to Ajokesings and the SPAW team, describing the experience as life-changing.
