One Wellness and PCOS Conquerors Host Transformative Women’s Wellness Event in Lagos

One Wellness Clinic and PCOS Conquerors have joined forces to power a transformative women’s wellness event in Lagos, themed “Come Hungry, Leave Whole”. The event marked the pre-launch of E.A.T.: Emotional Appetite Therapy, a book by award-winning author and women’s health advocate Seyi Amao.

The intimate dinner, held at Kaly Restaurant on September 27, blended storytelling, science, and faith in an unforgettable evening.
Seyi Amao said, “E.A.T was born out of years of walking with women who have battled body shame, hormonal struggles, and hidden hunger. This event was to remind us that healing is not only possible; it can also be beautiful.”

The evening was hosted by Deborah Oguike (aka “Debbie The Media Girl”) and featured Dr. Elizabeth “Dr. Fabulous” Falabi, Medical Director of Feet2Fit Integrative Health & Wellness, who opened with a stirring reflection on her wellness journey. Sophia O. Emifoniye (Founder/CEO, Brunch Avenue) moderated a panel featuring Dr. Jean Nassar, Pamela Bazi (One Wellness), and Hala El Hachem (ProSkin), discussing fertility, nutrition, and holistic health. Mrs. Joke Adu of Standard Chartered Bank connected financial resilience to holistic flourishing, while Pastor Moses Ida-Michaels of EcclesiaHills closed with a blessing that framed the evening not as an end but as the beginning of a movement.

For One Wellness, the evening was an expression of corporate social responsibility. Guests toured One Wellness facilities and heard from international specialists about how technology is expanding women’s health access in the region. “For us at One Wellness, supporting women with PCOS is not just medical — it’s personal. Joining hands with E.A.T at the Table during PCOS Awareness Month allowed us to highlight real issues women face, while reminding them that practical care, hope, and community are always within reach.”

The experiential element extended to the gifts, with each guest creating their own 30 ml signature perfume courtesy of Adam Scents — a live fragrance-blending experience. The evening wrapped with a lively raffle draw, where guests received fashion tokens from Sissy Remi, Tsemaye Binitie, and BB Artistry, along with complimentary treatments from ProSkin. Orange Mic was recognized as the supportive creative agency behind book production and printing.

Seyi Amao, founder of PCOS Conquerors, said, “E.A.T. is more than a book; it’s a pathway to wholeness. Last night proved that when science, faith, and sisterhood meet, we move beyond feeding our cravings to truly feeding our lives.” E.A.T: Emotional Appetite Therapy is available now on discounted pre-order via Roving Heights Bookstore and Selar, with orders shipping from October 27, 2025. Pricing returns to standard after release, and an Amazon edition will follow.
