Faith Morey’s OCF Expands Education Access with Bold Scholarship Initiative
The Okachi Charity Foundation has taken another bold step in shaping the future of young learners with the launch of its scholarship program, one of its most profound commitments to education. Building on the success of its just concluded summer school, the initiative is designed to ensure that learning does not end after the summer school season.
By provision of scholarships the foundation is not only easing the financial burden for families but also creating a pathway for children to pursue long-term academic success with dignity and consistency.
According to Faith Morey, OCF Founder she discloses that there are two key benefits of this sponsorship, “The first is our life-term commitment to orphans and highly vulnerable children. For these students, OCF provides full coverage from nursery through Primary 6, removing the financial burden that often keeps them out of school altogether. This not only guarantees their access to quality education but also restores a sense of belonging and security knowing that they are not alone but trusting that someone has invested in their future.”
“The second benefit is our merit based scholarship initiative, which recognizes the top performing child in every class. This ensures that brilliance, when identified, is nurtured rather than stifled by poverty. It tells children that excellence will always be rewarded, and it creates a healthy culture of motivation, hard work, and pride in achievement.”
The impact of these scholarships extends beyond the individual child. For the families, it lifts an enormous weight of financial worry. For the community, it becomes a symbol of what is possible when education is prioritized. And for the students themselves, it is transformative: they walk taller, dream bigger, and begin to see education not as an impossible mountain but as a staircase they have the strength to climb.
In essence, these scholarships go far beyond financial assistance; they embody a powerful statement of faith in the potential of every child. By affirming that education is a right and not a privilege, the Okachi Charity Foundation reinforces its belief that every child regardless of background deserves the chance to learn, to lead, and to transform their world.
