A Poetic Tribute to Pastor Tope Dada at 72

🎶 The Man, the Melody, the Mission 🎶

In the tapestry of time, seventy-two threads are woven strong,
Each year a testimony, each season a song.

You are more than a man; you are a vessel of grace,
A prophet, a pastor, a leader in God’s embrace.

Your footsteps have walked the sacred ground,
Where hymns and prayers and faith resound.

With a shepherd’s heart, you’ve led with care,
Lifting burdens through preaching, fasting, and prayer.
But beyond the pulpit, another gift you gave—
The ministry of music, the worship that saves.

Once a Music Director, your baton did rise,
Drawing heaven’s attention, uniting earth’s cries.
When voices faltered, your song stood tall,
Echoing through sanctuaries, inspiring all.
From “Halleluyah” choruses to psalms divine,
You made worship holy, transcendent, sublime.

You taught us that music is not just art,
But a language of heaven, the beat of the heart.
Through rhythm and harmony, through anointed refrain,
You showed how worship breaks every chain.
At seventy-two, your life is a hymn,
A melody pure, untainted by whim.
A chorus of service, a refrain of love,
Orchestrated by God from heaven above.

The Pastorate calls you Father,
The Elders call you Guide,
The Church calls you Shepherd,
And Heaven walks by your side.
O man of prayer, O prophet true,
O administrator with vision new—
You’ve built bridges across generations,
Raising pillars in God’s holy nation.

Today, we sing not just a birthday song,
But a lifelong anthem you’ve carried along.
May your years yet to come be sweeter still,
May your song continue, aligned with His will.
For seventy-two is not the end,
But another verse where blessings extend.
And when the final crescendo rings in the sky,
It will be your life’s chorus: “To God be the glory!”
🎶 Happy 72nd Birthday, Pastor Tope Dada—
The Pastor, the Prophet, the Administrator, and the Psalmist of our time. 🎶
