Baglietti Quality Taste Sparks Excitement, Grows Preference among Consumers
Consumers have expressed a preference for the premium top-quality and smooth taste of highly rated Italian organic sparkling wine, Baglietti. The Italian brand organised a product sampling engagement during the EKO Heritage Awards and Beauty Pageant, an event it sponsored, at the Oriental Hotel on Sunday, July 27, 2025.
The EKO Heritage Awards and Beauty Pageant showcases Lagos’ cultural heritage while providing a platform for ladies to showcase their beauty.
The event, which is in its 5th edition, attracted guests and socialites from top segments of society.
The guests have expressed delight with Baglietti’s taste and quality after participating in the product sampling activity.
Amongst participant in the sampling exercise, Anthonia Ahanor, an award-winning pageant coach and consultant, said, “This is the best sparkling wine I have ever tasted. It’s smooth and delightful on the taste buds. It is already inspiring my craving.”
As well, Calista Chidera, excitedly explained, “I am a fan of top-quality products. I can tell instantly a good drink brand. I am impressed with the taste experience provided by Baglietti.”
Asked if she would recommend the product to friends, she testified, “Sure. I will tell my friends about this product. If I found something that is worthwhile, I should want my friends to have it too. The taste of Baglietti is extraordinarily impressive. You don’t need to be told.”
Many other guests who encountered the product praised its quality, taste and branding.
Egbe Emmanuel, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ivory Entertainment, the organisers of the awards and pageantry, stated, “Baglietti proved its top rating by supporting events that showcase the state’s rich endowments. Everyone who experienced the brand tonight was delighted. It’s endearing seeing drink products in this category provide extra moments that enliven guests and add a touch of experiential to events.”
Baglietti products, especially the Prosecco, are produced using a globally standardised method. Using the Charmat method, also known as the Tank method, harvested grapes (usually Glera for Prosecco) are harvested and fermented into a base wine. The base wine is transferred to the autoclave tanks, where yeast and sugars are added to trigger the second fermentation, creating the characteristic bubbles. The wine is then filtered and bottled.
Fidelis Egbochie, Chief Executive Officer, Fidossi Wines & Spirits (FWS), the distributor of Baglietti organic wines in Nigeria, said, “We are excited to make top-quality wines such as Baglietti available to the Nigerian consumers. Baglietti continues to grow its preferences in every market where it is distributed. The testimonials by guests at the Eko Award and Beauty Pageant validate the exceptional quality and taste of the brand.”
