The Management of Veritas Glanvills Pensions has said they will deepen the penetration of pensions services to creative sector with their brand ambassador, Femi Adebayo, who recently won the 11th Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) Best Lead Actor Award for his remarkable performance in ‘Seven Doors.’
Speaking in Lagos during a visit to Adebayo who is onsite for another production, the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Veritas Glanvills Pensions, Mr. Godson Ukpevo who was represented by the Head, Business Development, South, Oluwakemi Aroyehun, said working with him has deepened the need for the creative sector to embrace pension services.
He said as a brand, they aligned with him because this award shows his excellent impact and integrity in the industry.
According to him, “This win now actually reinforces our commitment to the partnership we have with him. Over the years, Femi has been an impactful brand ambassador for Veritas Glanvills Pensions. He has exhibited professionalism, and as a brand, we appreciate excellence and positive development.
“So, we are here today to celebrate with him, and we believe this is a statement to our continuous commitment to the relationship we have with him, and we are really excited about the future with him.”
Responding, the actor said the pension industry needs to do more to convince creative sector players on the importance of saving for the future, as he aligns with Veritas as a brand in the sector.
According to him, “So, very few people understand and appreciate the value of preparing for what the future holds. So, I must be sincere that before being part of Veritas family, I never appreciated the fact that we should prepare for the future. Well, the moment I joined the family, I appreciated it and I’ve never stopped telling people why we should prepare for the future.
“And the most important thing is for them to believe that the millions you make today will not be the millions you will make tomorrow. You know? So, I’ve been able to convince some and I want them also to convince others so that the chain will go on till all of us understand the fact that it’s important, we must be on this kind of work.”
Other VG Pensions team on the visit include Peninnah Omisade, Head of Micro Pension, Tochukwu Esejindu, Head of Corporate Development and Strategy, and Adewumi Ojo, Corporate Communications Officer.
