Teriro: A Rising Star in Afrobeat and Global Music

Tari Mpala, also known as Teriro, is a British citizen and a native of Zimbabwe.

Teriro is a multi-genre artist. Her music incorporates R&B, Dance hall, POP, afro-swing and
Hip-pop. Teriro has opened up for various mainstream artists including Naira Marley,Falz,
Reekado banks and more. In 2023, she opened up for Omah Lay in Italy on his Boy Alone
Tour. She also toured with Bracket.

Teriro has performed at indigo O2 aswel as festivals including Zim Fest and Felabaration.
Teriro, started her career as a radio Dancer before transitioning to music, where her
dynamic vocals and performances garnered a loyal fan base. Her unique ability to blend
Afrobeat, Hip-Hop, and Amapiano has positioned her as a talent in cross-genre music
exploration.

In 2023, Teriro released an Afro pop sensation “L.o.v.e”, which was premiered on BBC Radio
Introducing. The music video directed by Walle Visuals features
Afrobeats Star SONA. The video is available on GRM DAILY. L.O.V.E is mellow afro-pop song
which received widespread acclaim for its energetic sound and innovative beats.
Building on this momentum, she dropped another hit single sugar cane featuring Magnito.
Musical Milestones

1. L.o.v.e (2023)
Featuring SONA, this Afrobeat hit became an instant favorite, celebrated for its
infectious rhythm and innovative sound. The track is available on major streaming
platforms like Naijaloaded, Voxtrendy, and Spotify.

2. Sugacane
Sugacane is the follow up single to “L.O.V.E”. The song features “Magnito”. It was
produced by Joshua ITETE who produced Magntio’s hits “CANADA” and “CARTEL”. The
music video which features both Teriro and Magnitowas shot in Lagos, Nigeria
The song is an amapiano song with fusions of dance melodies. Teriro is set to
join Magnito on his anticipated UK Tour which he announced via an instagram post.
The collaboration was announced back in february this year on MAX.FM, in an interview
with Real Skillz
