From Digital Hustler to Oil Magnate, Augustine Iyoha’s Rise to Influence
By Ferdinand Ekechukwu
For Augustine Iyoha, widely known as Weyreyfearson, the journey from coding lines of HTML to managing oil rigs is not just a career path. It’s a testament to vision, grit, and an unrelenting drive to succeed.
Growing up in Edo State, Augustine’s early passion was technology. He carved out a niche as a web developer, app creator, and forex trader, captivating audiences with his relatable content and practical insights.
His online persona, Weyreyfearson, became a brand in itself, a symbol of possibility for thousands following his rise.
“I started with a laptop, an internet connection, and a belief that I could build something bigger than myself,” Augustine recalls. “Tech was my first love, but I always saw beyond it.”
As his influence grew, so did his ambition. Augustine took the bold step into Nigeria’s oil and gas sector, founding AUSMAGMUS GLOBAL LTD, a company focused on crude oil processing, exploration, and petroleum trading. With operations spanning oil fields, wells, and drilling machinery, he transitioned from digital spaces to the physical heart of Nigeria’s economy.
“Energy fuels everything,” he says. “I realised that if I wanted to impact communities and industries at scale, oil and gas was the way to do it.”
But Augustine didn’t abandon his tech roots. He continues to lead FEARSONS DOMAIN LTD, a tech firm offering web solutions, digital marketing, and enterprise software development. This dual role allows him to bridge two seemingly different worlds, merging innovation with infrastructure.
“Tech keeps me agile, oil keeps me grounded,” Augustine jokes. “One feeds my creativity, the other my sense of purpose.”
In recent years, he has expanded his digital services to include cloud computing and cybersecurity solutions, helping businesses navigate the modern threats of data breaches and system vulnerabilities. His ability to evolve alongside global trends keeps him relevant across sectors.
He’s known for mentoring young entrepreneurs, sharing his journey to inspire the next generation. From financial literacy workshops to tech training, Augustine’s commitment to community empowerment runs deep.
“When I look back, the real success isn’t the businesses, it’s the people we’ve helped along the way,” he says.
For Weyreyfearson, the story isn’t just about climbing the ladder. It’s about building ladders for others. Whether through software or crude oil, Augustine Osas Iyoha is shaping Nigeria’s future one bold step at a time.
