GOSSIPMILL NAIJA CEO, PINOVIBES, RENOVATES OGUN SECONDARY SCHOOL WITH N15 MILLION

In a powerful move beyond digital headlines, CEO of Gossipmill Naija, Somto, widely known as Pinovibes, has taken on a physical project with real community impact — the full renovation of a public secondary school in Ogun State, investing over N15 million of his personal funds.

The project, which was completed earlier this month, included the rebuilding of dilapidated classrooms, roofing repairs, repainting, provision of desks and chairs, installation of ceiling fans, and rehabilitation of the school’s sanitation facilities.

According to local reports, the school — previously struggling with leaking roofs, cracked walls, and broken furniture — now stands revitalized, bringing a sense of pride to both students and staff. For many in the Ifo local government area where the school is located, this is the first time in years that any form of infrastructural development has reached them.

Speaking on his motivation, Pinovibes stated:

“I didn’t do it for clout or cameras. I grew up seeing how lack of infrastructure affects learning. If I can fix one school, maybe one child will believe they’re worth more.”

The principal of the school expressed deep gratitude, calling the gesture “life-changing” for the school community.

“This is not just renovation — it is restoration of dignity. Our students now learn with joy.”

Photos of the transformed classrooms and grateful students have gone viral across social media, with thousands praising Pinovibes for putting action behind his influence.

Known for his viral gossip platform and no-filter reporting style, this latest act reveals a quieter side of the digital giant — one rooted in community, legacy, and impact.

From gossip to giving, Pinovibes is proving that influence means little without service.
