Vigilearn’s Studio Surpasses 5,000 Users Amid Growing Demand for Remote Collaboration

In response to the growing demand for effective remote collaboration tools, Nigerian tech company Vigilearn Technologies has launched Studio, a cloud-based video conferencing platform that is rapidly gaining popularity in the country and beyond.

Launched in 2022, Studio was initially designed as a live-class feature within Vigilearn’s learning management system, Ediify. However, as remote work and virtual learning continued to expand, the platform evolved to become a standalone solution tailored for teams, educators, and businesses.

With over 5,000 active users and more than 3,000 meetings facilitated, Studio has emerged as a preferred choice for seamless online communication. The platform offers high-quality video and audio, real-time collaboration tools, and unique features such as shared notes, preloaded presentations, and in-meeting search functionality — all designed to improve user experience and productivity.

Speaking on the platform’s growth, Onyekachi Ginger-Eke, CEO of Vigilearn Technologies, described the milestone as a significant achievement.

“Reaching the milestone of 5,000 active users is a significant achievement. It underscores our commitment to providing an accessible and seamless video conferencing experience that helps people collaborate effortlessly,” Ginger-Eke said.

Femi Shonubi, Vigilearn’s Chief Technology Officer, credited the platform’s success to its user-focused design and functionality.

“Seeing Studio gain traction so quickly has been incredibly rewarding. This milestone is proof of our dedication to delivering a high-quality user experience,” he stated.

Studio’s intuitive design was led by Raymond Okoro, a former senior product designer at Vigilearn. Reflecting on his role, Okoro highlighted his focus on creating an engaging platform that enhances teaching, learning, and teamwork.

“My focus was to craft an intuitive and engaging user experience that enhances teaching, learning, and collaboration. It was an incredibly fulfilling journey,” Okoro shared.

To expand its reach, Vigilearn offers a free 30-day trial for new users, along with a permanent freemium plan to ensure accessibility. Paid subscription options range from $7 to $12 per month, with customized enterprise packages available for larger organizations.

As Nigeria’s digital landscape continues to grow, Studio stands out as a homegrown innovation poised to redefine virtual collaboration for businesses, educators, and individuals alike.
