In the fast-evolving cryptocurrency market, user experience often takes a backseat to functionality. But Associate Product Manager Gabriel Abhulimen is changing that narrative at Patricia Technologies. Gabriel’s data-driven approach and relentless focus on user experience have positioned Patricia as one of the most user-friendly platforms in the space, attracting both novice and seasoned users alike.

Gabriel’s journey to product management wasn’t typical. Starting as a Customer Care Agent, Gabriel moved through customer experience roles, picking up valuable insights into what users truly need. His work at Patricia is the culmination of years of refining these skills, and his impact has been profound. He has turned data into a language that informs product decisions, guiding the development team to design features with users at the center.

“Numbers are only half the story,” Gabriel explains, “You have to know the person behind the data. Only then can you create something meaningful.” Gabriel’s metrics-based approach is evident in Patricia’s recent UI overhaul, which he led to improve accessibility and streamline navigation. Using a data feedback loop, he collected insights directly from over 1,000 users, identifying specific frustrations and optimizing the design accordingly. The results were immediate—a 15% increase in positive user feedback and a noticeable uptick in daily active users.

One of his notable achievements at Patricia was the creation of a comprehensive metrics dashboard. This dashboard allows Gabriel and his team to monitor key performance indicators in real-time, from user engagement rates to transaction processing times. “Our users want a fast, reliable platform,” he shares, “and our data showed us exactly where to focus our efforts.” The dashboard helped reduce transaction processing times by 25% and allowed the team to make swift adjustments as user behavior evolved.

Gabriel’s expertise isn’t confined to Patricia alone. Recognizing the challenges faced by aspiring Product Managers, he published two eBooks, The Role of User Experience in Product Management and The Role Data Plays in Driving User Experience for a Product. His aim? To guide others in creating data-informed, user-centered products. “Product management is complex, but these books are my way of sharing what I’ve learned and making it a bit easier for the next generation,” he says. Gabriel has also launched a User Experience Bootcamp, where he teaches Product Managers how to balance analytics with empathy, ensuring that products serve real people in the best way possible.

Gabriel’s work has created a more engaged user base for Patricia and established the company as a leader in customer-focused cryptocurrency solutions. As his influence continues to grow, Gabriel Abhulimen is proving that data-driven insights and user empathy are the future of product management.
