Ondo Public Schools Resume for 2021/2022 Session Oct 4, Says Commissioner

The Ondo State Government has said that all public primary and secondary schools in the state will resume for the 2021/2022 academic session on Monday, October 4, 2021.

The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education, Science & Technology, Mrs. Lola Amuda, said the October 4th resumption date remains sacrosanct, and urged students, parents and guardians to disregard any rumour of extension.

She said: “Government would not extend the resumption date because we were already lost to the prolonged lockdown last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.”

Amuda enjoined students, parents and guardians to adhere strictly to the Covid-19 prevention protocols in line with government directive during the registration of new intakes.
