A former federal legislator, Hon. Shina Peller, has congratulated the Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, on his recognition as the Governor of the Year by the management of the Leadership Newspaper.
Peller’s congratulatory message was contained in a statement issued Wednesday, where he described the award as a well-deserved one.
The former lawmaker expressed his delight in having Makinde as a leader, adding that the award conferred on him was a testament to his impressive leadership attributes and firm commitment to delivering good governance to the people of Oyo State.
Peller who recently defected to People’s Democratic Party (PDP) expressed delight that the party in Oyo state was being led by an exceptional leader like Makinde.
He said: “Congratulations to the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde, on his recognition as the Governor of the Year 2023 by the management of the Leadership Newspaper. It’s indeed a well-deserved recognition for all the hard work and dedication.
