NSCDCs Buchi Onwuteaka to Receive Rising Star of the Year Award at AMTY

Buchi Onwuteaka, a distinguished security personnel and dedicated community leader, has been announced as the recipient of the Rising Star of the Year award at the upcoming AMTY awards.

Onwuteaka will be honored for his resourcefulness and professionalism in protecting critical and national assets of FG , state ,LGA and private individuals

According to organisers, Onwuteaka’s meteoric rise in the service is quite commendable ” we have taken note of his professionalism in NSCDC and we believe that given what he has achieved at a young age in the service,tomorrow holds a lot of goodies in the bag for him. This is one of the Young Anambra people to watch their rise in public service “

A native of Ogidi, Idemili North L.G.A, Anambra State, Nigeria, Onwuteaka has demonstrated exceptional dedication to his work as an Operations Officer at the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Zone K Headquarters, Awka. His expertise in intelligence, security, peace, and conflict resolution has been instrumental in maintaining peace and order in Anambra State.

Onwuteaka’s impressive educational background includes attending the prestigious Dennis Memorial Grammar School Onitsha, a Master’s degree in Engineering (Corrosion Science & Engineering) from Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Uli, and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the same institution. He has also undergone various specialized courses, including Basic Intelligence, Intermediate Intelligence, and Agro Rangers Training. Onwuteaka is also a PHD candidate at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Uli ,Anambra State.

As Chairman of the Ikenga Ogidi Security Committee, Onwuteaka has played a vital role in promoting community policing and resolving conflicts.

The AMTY award ceremony will celebrate Onwuteaka’s achievements and honor his dedication to making a positive impact in Anambra State through his career.
