Don Okonkwo, to Be Honored As Iconic Business Leader of the Year

Business Mogul and Chairman, Tetrazzini Group, Prince Okonkwon, is among eminent personalities set to be recognized at the upcoming prestigious Anambra Man of the year (AMTY) award in Awka.

Prince Okonkwo will be recognised as Anambra Iconic Business Leader of the Year for his outstanding entrepreneurial achievements and contributions to the Nigerian business landscape.

Dr. Okonkwo’s business acumen and leadership skills have been instrumental in transforming Tetrazzini Foods Plc, which he founded in 1999, into a thriving business empire. The company has expanded to include various subsidiaries, such as Tetrazzini Properties Limited, Tetrazzini Farms and Agro-Allied Industry Limited, and Tetrazzini Oil and Gas Limited, among others.

Under Dr. Okonkwo’s leadership, Tetrazzini Foods Plc has grown from a single outlet in Ajao Estate, Lagos, to 23 outlets across Nigeria within its first decade of operation.

Dr. Okonkwo’s entrepreneurial success has earned him numerous accolades, including the Most Outstanding Entrepreneur Gold Meritorious Award (2005), Excellent Leadership Platinum Award (2006), and the NTA Award of Excellence (2010).

In addition to his business achievements, Dr. Okonkwo is a philanthropist and humanitarian who has initiated various projects to improve the lives of Nigerians. His Widows Support Programme in Anambra State, Scholarship Scheme for indigent students, and construction of a General Library in Ojoto, Anambra State, are just a few examples of his commitment to giving back to the community.
