RHOLagos Season 3: Is Carolyna Clashing with Laura Next?

The first few episodes of The Real Housewives of Lagos Season 3 felt like a calm parade, with the housewives on their best behaviour. But by episodes six and seven, the drama fans had been waiting for finally began to unfold.

It all began at Dabota’s beach weekend. She had invited the housewives for a staycation, but despite her efforts, things didn’t go as planned.

First, there was the tardiness. Diiadem, known for her punctuality, arrived on time, while Mariam, Carolyna, and Sophia Momodu came much later. But what really irked Dabota was that they decided to use Sophia’s boat to get to the venue, having spent millions in acquiring a boat for the ladies. In retaliation, Dabota played the role of the ‘evil host’ by switching Sophia’s room and assigning her a space facing the trash.

Sophia was openly upset and voiced her disappointment at the bonfire. All the heated tension between Dabota and Sophia burst the next day during a get-together,  leading to a heated exchange of insults between the two. Meanwhile, Carolyna picked a separate fight with Diiadem, accusing her of being unfriendly when they arrived.

If we thought the drama would end there, we were mistaken. In episode seven, Carolyna rekindled the conflict by inviting Laura and Sophia to a baking session where she brought up the beach incident once again, this time labelling Diiadem a Voltron for Dabota. Not only that, she revisited a visit to Dabota’s house, where she felt uncomfortable when Dabota didn’t join her for refreshments. However, the main issue seemed to be the presence of Ehi Ogbebor, a popular businesswoman at Dabota’s house.

Without holding back, Carolyna expressed her dislike for Ehi, accusing her of questioning a contract she had received and an event invitation. Although Dabota, who claimed to have been friends with Ehi for a long time, apologized during the episode, the feud didn’t end there.

The drama spilled over online, with Carolyna and Ehi exchanging unprintable insults in a public spat. While they seem to have moved on, we doubt this will be the last we hear from the duo. As episode eight airs tonight, we can expect more tension between the housewives — and Carolyna is likely to be at the centre of it all, possibly clashing with Laura Ikeji. Stay tuned!
