Remita Facilitates 2025 JAMB UTME ePIN Sales

With the start of ePIN sales for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE), leading payment platform, Remita has pledged to support Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) at ensuring a smooth registration process for Nigerian students.
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) recently announced commencement of the registration process on February 3, 2025, with ePIN sales running until April 7, 2025.
Remita encouraged participating students to leverage its streamlined platform for a hassle-free process.
Head of Enterprise Assets Team at Remita, Chinedu Alisa explained that the firm’s partnership with JAMB underscored its commitment to education growth.
“With millions of transactions processed securely every year, we remain a trusted partner for educational institutions, students, and businesses. Candidates can obtain ePINs through the Remita website, mobile app, and authorized agents. The process involves generating a profile code by sending an SMS with their National Identification Number (NIN) to designate code which is then used to purchase ePIN via the company’s platform”, he said.
Speaking further, he stated, “Education should not be hindered by financial barriers. This is why we remain committed to providing a seamless, inclusive, and secure payment experience that ensures every aspiring university student, regardless of their location or access to banking infrastructure, can register for the UTME without stress.”
He added that the company’s involvement in the education sector aligns with global trends that highlights importance of digital payments in enhancing accessibility and efficiency in education.
Remita also cautioned against price inflation, reiterating that ePINs must be sold at JAMB’s approved prices. JAMB has announced different pricing structures for the registration.
