Showmax Announces Partnership With Firewood Rice for Jollof Festival
Nigeria’s leading streaming platform, Showmax, has announced a partnership with Firewood Rice Nigeria for the inaugural Firewood Jollof Festival, set to take place on Saturday at Muri Okunola Park, Victoria Island, Lagos.
This first-of-its-kind event is poised to redefine food festivals in Nigeria, combining culinary excellence with digital entertainment. For every firewood jollof meal purchased at the festival, attendees will receive one to three months of Showmax Entertainment mobile plans, providing access to a vast library of local and international movies, series, kids’ shows, and documentaries—available to stream directly on their mobile devices.
The festival marks a significant step in Showmax’s mission to fuse world-class entertainment with authentic Nigerian cultural experiences. With over 5,000 attendees expected, this premium event will bring together the best of Nigerian cuisine, entertainment, and cultural celebration.
