In a groundbreaking achievement aimed at advancing education in Nigeria, 4,000 educators, drawn across every region of the country, recently graduated from the SAIL Teachers Fellowship Training Program, held at the SAIL Innovation Lab in the Ikorodu area of Lagos State.

The training, which was organised in partnership with the MTN Foundation, and CCHub, was aimed at equipping teachers with innovative tools and techniques to revolutionize learning in their classrooms, which is the focus of the co-founders of the lab, Senator Tokunbo Abiru and his wife, Mrs Feyisola Abiru, and bringing about more innovative ways of teaching in the country’s educational system.

The training program consisted of two phases: virtual training for over 6,000 teachers and an intensive, hands-on mentorship for 400 top-performing participants. As a result, the teachers were empowered to foster creativity, critical thinking, and engagement
