Citadel Views Unveils Fully Solar-powered Estate

To eradicate air pollution and ensure 24 hours uninterrupted power supply, a leading real estate company in Africa, Nedcomoaks Ltd, has delivered the first solar-powered estate, Citadel Views.

Today, Citadel Views Estate will set another record as lucky project subscribers will be handed their fully solar-powered homes.

However, Citadel Views Estate 2.0 consists of 306 units, but the first 205 are ready for customers and subscribers.

Citadel Views Estate can boost quality finishing, 24-hour uninterrupted power supply, treated water, a fitness centre, round-the-clock security, and solar-powered homes.

It also has after-sale maintenance,
facility management, kids’ play area, biogas waste management system, swimming pool, football pitch, smart locks and spacious en-suite bedrooms.

The MD of the company, Dr Kennedy Okonkwo, listed these features during a press briefing ahead of the handover of the 2nd series of fully solar-powered homes.

He outlined the company’s decision to tap into nature to solve some problems, including climate change, energy and inflation crises, among others, through this project.

“The beauty of what we are doing is that climate change is real; carbon in our atmosphere is authentic.

“We cannot use our hands to destroy the earth that God gave us. The same God has also given us sunlight,” says Okonkwo.

He further underscored the essence of Citadel— to ensure that we harness the sun’s power.

In his words, the firm tapped into the sun following the outbreak of COVID-19, the Ukraine-Russian war, the energy crisis, and the surge in diesel prices.

“The income of the average Nigerian has not increased. Inflation is affecting everything, and all the estates have the same complaint.

“So we thought of looking inwards and finding out how to solve those problems. We thought it wise to execute this project,” the MD highlighted.

According to the Nedcomoaks Ltd boss, the estate comprises 306 units. However, the first 205 units are ready for customers and subscribers.

He assured prospective subscribers that “We have partnered with reputable brands when it comes to solar inverters – European brands – to have the best quality that Nigerians deserve.

“There are speculations that the solar system is not durable. Our partner company has a five-year warranty. Inverter systems are scalable, and you enjoy more power supply.”

Meanwhile, venturing into real estate, Okonkwo has given the industry a facelift.

Over the years, he has redefined sustainable residential living, making it accessible to all.

His company has continued to restate its dedication and commitment to providing exquisite homes with exceptional features and impressive views.
