All Set for Tiger Tennis Foundation Easter Tourney

 

 No fewer than 200 children from six states across Nigeria are scheduled to feature at the Tiger Tennis Foundation Easter National Training and Tournament billed for April 18-23 in Lagos.

According to the founder of the Tiger Tennis Foundation, Paul Moses, the week-long programme which will take place at National Stadium Surulere, will be in six categories for boys and girls.

The categories are eight and under (red ball),  nine and under (orange ball), 12 and under, 14 and under, 16 and under and 18 and under.

Moses, a UK Professional Tennis Registry certified coach, stated that the Tiger Tennis Foundation, among others, was birthed to create a competitive environment for young people to take part in more training and national tournament in Nigeria and to organise different international tournament for kids

While thanking the Nigeria Tennis Federation boss, Ifedayo Akindoju for support, Moses added that the foundation would create a competitive environment for young people to take part in more training and national tournament in and also help to improve our grassroots tennis by organising clinics and mini tournaments across Nigeria.

“Aside assisting of coaches and players with tennis equipment, the Tiger Tennis Foundation will equally serve as a pool for future tennis superstars and more importantly, fast track the development of tennis in Nigeria, he said.
