Foremost quality organisation, World Quality Alliance in partnership with African Quality Institute has announced plans for the 2022 edition of the Top Quality Achievement award set to hold in Lagos.
The award recognises firms that prioritise leadership innovation and creativity in quality management in Africa.
Speaking on the award initiative, Executive Director of World Quality Alliance, Mrs. Favour Esorougwe stated that the platform also recognises African firms that pay priority to standards.
She added that the award is aimed at organisations looking to improve their performance and networking opportunities.
“This is aimed at identifying and rewarding companies, personalities and products that apply quality culture and management best practices to the analysis, planning and Implementation and control of policies designed to achieve corporate objective in both profit and non-profit making organisations in Africa.”
Esorougwe informed also that while this year’s award would be held in Nigeria, subsequent ones have been arranged to hold in other African countries like South Africa, Ghana and Egypt etc.
She noted that as part of the award event is the African Quality Congress 2022 where leaders will converge for developmental discussions.
Esorougwe said, “the congress will be providing delegates with greater understanding of how operational effectiveness and efficiency to vital organisational success.”
