The brilliant woman is also a trustee of the Tony Elumelu Foundation and can be best described as the silent supporter of female entrepreneurs in Africa.
It was gathered that 3,000 young women across Africa will receive a non-refundable grant of $5000 each to further their entrepreneurial and business ideas, courtesy of the beautiful woman.
This mother of twins, through her Avon Healthcare and her husband’s NGO, has been catering to many indigent persons in the society, just as the TEF has made many entrepreneurs to be on the upswing.
What you can’t take away from Awele, a feminist, is her uncommon frankness, particularly on issues that are dear to her heart.
