ICRC DG, Chidi Izuwah, is Dead

The Director General, Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission, (ICRC), Mr. Chidi Izuwah is dead.

Aged 55, Izuwah reportedly passed on yesterday after a protracted illness.

In a message to staff of the commission, the acting Director-General of the commission, Mr. Mike Ohiani said: “With a heavy heart I announce the passing away of our DG, Mr. Chidi Izuwah. You will be notified in due course about the burial arrangement. May his soul rest in peace, amen”.

The commission, in the statement issued by the acting Head, Media and Publicity, Manji Yarling, pointed out that the late Izuwah was appointed substantive chief executive of the ICRC by President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019 upon confirmation by the Senate.

Prior to that, he was Executive Director, Public Private Partnership Resource Department and Director, Support Services Department in the commission.
