Six designers have showcased their works at the ongoing Arise Fashion Week 2020, leaving only four designers to round up the set, before the eight finalists will emerge. So far, viewers have seen ingenuity on the runway from Ré Lagos to TJ Who, each designer displaying sophistication, innovation and gender fluid designs.
For instance, Elfreda Dali, a young collaborative fashion designer in her collection, elevated the black identity, playing with dark hues embellished with sparkling accessories while Muyishime, a Kenyan brand gave the runway an androgynous narrative. International model Alton Mason also walks in Lagos Space Programme.
The judges will pick the final three from the eight finalists who will then showcase a limited designs and compete for the grand prize of $100,000
