With 58 New COVID-19 Infections, Nigeria Records Lowest Cases in Seven Months

Nigeria has recorded 58 new cases of COVID-19, making it the lowest single day infection since March.

This brings to 59,345 the number of confirmed cases in Nigeria.

Announcing this yesterday, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said Plateau recorded 18 new cases; Lagos, 15; Katsina, 10; Ogun, five; Kaduna, four; Edo, three; Ekiti, Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and Ondo recorded one each.

It said: “Nigeria has so far recorded 59,345 confirmed cases of COVID-19. 50,768 patients have been discharged, while 1,113 persons have died.”
