President of the Senate, Dr Ahmad Lawan, two governors, Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Boss Mustapha, some Senators, among other dignitaries graced the wedding of ranking Senator and former two-term governor of Gombe State, Senator Muhammad Danjuma Goje, on Friday to Aminatu Dahiru Binani.
The ceremony was held at the Asokoro, Abuja residence of the groom.
Apart from the Senate President and the SGF, those in attendance at the sprawling residence of Senator Goje include Governors Muhammad Yahaya of Gombe state; Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano state; Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Dr Isa Pantami; Senators Gabriel Suswam, Abdullahi Adamu; and the new Executive Director of Federal Housing Authority (FHA), Abdulmumin Jibrin.
The occasion was also graced by former and present governors, ministers, Senators and members of the House of Representatives.
Speaking at the ceremony, Governor Yahaya prayed for Senator Goje, the leader of ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in his State.
His words: “As our leader, I pray Allah, Subhana WataAllah, will guide him and we wish him well in order to manage leadership with his wife”.
