Nigeria’s COVID-19 Cases Rise By 97 to 57, 242

Nigeria has recorded 97 new cases of COVID-19, bringing to 57, 242, the number of cases in the country.

Announcing this yesterday, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) stated that the country also recorded three deaths.

“Till date, 57,242 cases have been confirmed, 48,569 cases have been discharged and 1,098 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT)

“The 97 new cases are reported from 12 states- Lagos, (46); Kwara, (12); Rivers, (11); Adamawa, (four); Niger (four); Ogun (four); Osun (four); Ekiti (three); Imo (three); Kaduna (three); Plateau, (three); and FCT, (one).
