Chairman of Oilserv, Engr. Emeka Okwuosa, presented the items to Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi at the Government House Enugu, saying he was impressed by his commitment to stem the spread of coronavirus disease in Enugu State.

Okwuosa said Oilserv’s support for Enugu State was parts of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative to support governments at all level in their fight against Covid-19 pandemic.

According to him, Oilserv was presently engaged in numerous local intervention efforts between state governments and the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.

Ugwuanyi was very grateful to Oilserv for its support to the state in its war efforts against Covid-19, adding that there was every need everyone to be on guard and strictly to the protocols by NCDC and stay safe.

He called on other corporate organisations and public spirited individuals to emulate Oilserv and assist government in the fight against the pandemic.

The EPC giant also provided palliatives to its host communities to cushion the effects of Covid-19 pandemic and reaffirmed its commitment to supporting more state governments across the country in the coming week.
