The House of Representatives on Thursday adjourned plenary till September 15, 2020 to enable members proceed on the annual summer vacation.
The adjournment followed the adoption of a motion moved by the Leader of the House, Hon. Alhassan Ado-Doguwa, and seconded by the Minority Leader, Hon. Ndudi Elumelu.
The House, following the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, reduced plenary session to once a week and also had a five-week shutdown of legislative activities.
In June, the lawmakers embarked on a two-week break to celebrate its one-year anniversary.
