APC Mourns Ex-National Vice-chairman, Inuwa Abdulkadir

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has expressed sadness over the death of the former National Vice-Chairman (North-west) of the party, Mr. Inuwa Abdulkadir.

Abdulkadir died on Monday from Covid-19 complications.

The Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the party, Mr. Yekinni Nabena, in a statement issued Monday, said until his death, Abdulkadir was also the Chairman, Governing Board of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) and Chairman, Governing Council of Sokoto State University.

The party said he was once the Attorney General of Sokoto State and Minister of Youth and Sports Development.

Nabena noted: “The APC has lost a grassroots politician, true progressive and distinguished personality who served the party and country meritoriously and at the highest level. In grief, we urge all to remember and be comforted by the positive impact and indelible strides the late Alhaji Inuwa Abdulkadir left during his time on earth.”

The party condoled his immediate family, the Sokoto sultanate, the government and people of Sokoto State over this death.
