Inter Battle Napoli in Coppa Italia Semi-Final Live on StarTimes Today

Soccer fans around the world had a taste of live action with the return of football in Italy yesterday after two Serie A giants, Juventus and AC Milan clashed in the Coppa Italia semi-final clash at Allianz Stadium in Turin.

The two teams played out a goalless draw in a game Cristiano Ronaldo uncharacteristically missed a penalty which would have won it for Juve. The host however qualified on goals aggregate having secured a 1-1 in the first leg in Milan.

Action however continued today as Inter Milan traveled to Napoli in the second leg of the Coppa Italia at 8:00pm on StarTimes.

The encounter which was earlier scheduled for March was postponed as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

Meanwhile, Inter manager Antonio Conte intends to deploy Inter in a 3-4-1-2 system in Inter’s upcoming against Napoli.

Conte plans to use this system opposed to the 3-5-2 system he has had the team use throughout the season in order to try and get the best out of January transfer window recruit Christian Eriksen.

Conte has been studying the system intensely whilst football has been on hold for the past three months and will use it against Napoli, who Inter trail 1-0 from the first leg.

The report from the Rome-based news outlet goes on to explain that Eriksen now feels more confident following a shaky start to life in the Nerazzurri and claims that he will be able to lead the San Siro giants to the Coppa Italia final.

The match will be broadcast live today at 8:00 pm on StarTimes’ ST World Football Channels 244 and 254 and ST Sport Premium Channel 246.
