Lagos Discharges 24 Additional COVID-19 Patients

The Lagos State Government has discharged 24 additional COVID-19 patients from its isolation centres, bringing to 952 the number of successfully treated persons in the state.

Announcing this Thursday, the Incident Commander on COVID-19 in Lagos State, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu said 15 of the patients were males, while nine were females, adding that they are all Nigerians.

He said: “Four of the patients were discharged from Onikan, one each from Gbagada and Agidingbi, and 18 from Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) isolation centres.

“With this, the number of COVID-19 cases that have been successfully managed and discharged in Lagos has risen to 952.”
