The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) approved nomination of Hon. Kingsley Chinda as the chairman of the Edo state governorship screening committee.
Other members of the screening committee are Chief Oladimeji Fabiyi,. Senator Mrs. Joy Emordi, Hajiya Aishat Hasinduanf and Hon. Boyele Debekeme who will serve as Secretary
According to a statement by the National Organising Secretary of the party, Col. Austin Akobundu (rtd), the exercise is scheduled for Friday June 05, 2020 at the NWC HALL, Wadata Plaza.
The time for the screening exercise is 10:00AM prompt.
More than three members of the party bought and returned the governorship nomination form. Some of the aspirants that have returned their governorship nomination forms are Omorege Ogbide Ihama and Gideon Ikhine.
Others are yet to return their completed governorship forms for the screening exercise.
