Federal Government has said that only three out of the numerous claims of local remedies for Covid-19 are being considered for further investigation.
It said that the three claims had now been forwarded to the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) and Pharmaceutical Institute of Research and Development (NIPRD) for further evaluation.
Speaking at the media briefing by the Presidential Taskforce on covid-19, Minister of State for Health, Senator Olorunmibe Mamora, said that the federal government would be strict and meticulous to ensure that all necessary scientific processes were adhered to before certifying any drug for use by Nigerians.
