Gov. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of Sokoto state has announced the death of three people as a result of the COVID-19 infection.
The governor said all the three victims had history of other diseases such as diabetes, asthma and high blood pressure.
A statement by the Special Adviser to the governor on Media and Publicity, Muhammed Bello, did not give details of the victims.
