Law School Suspends Academic Activities

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Nigerian Law School yesterday said it would suspend academic activities from Monday, March 23, 2020 for four weeks.
A statement signed by the Secretary to the Council and Director of Administration, Mrs. Max-Uba E O, said the directive became necessary in order to forestall any outbreak in the school.

Max-Uba added that the directive would affect both regular students and re-sit candidates, advising that regular students to look for externship placement from April 10, 2020.

She noted that an amended re-sit programme would be announced in due course.

The director advised students to vacate their hostels latest Wednesday, March 25, 2020.

The statement read: “Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the need to take proactive steps, the Nigerian Law School will suspend academic activities with effect from Monday, March 23, 2020 for a period of four weeks.

“This affects both the regular students as well as the resit candidates. Regular students are to look out for placement from April 10, 2020. An amended re-sit programme will be announced in due course.

“Consequently, students are expected to vacate the hostels latest Wednesday, March 25, 2020.”
