Lagos Sets up N2bn Trust Fund for Blast Victims

*Explosion looks like war zone, says Sanwo-Olu

Lagos State Government has set up a N2 billion emergency relief fund for victims of Sunday’s blast at Abule Ado area of the State.

The government, according Governor Babjide Sanwo-Olu, has deposited the sum of N250m in the fund already.

He said that the fund will be headed by the Deputy Governor, Dr. Obafemi Hazmat.

Also, the state has set up a fact-finding committee headed by Hazmat.

Noting that the explosion site looks like a war zone, Sanwo-Olu said that following the level of devastation, he will be meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari to intimate him on the situation.
